TRAVEL series - small, lightweight design for travel

END FED (EFHW) antenna, MINI version.

Lightweight version suitable for travel, but also for permanent installation on fiberglass telescopes and portable devices.
Suitable for use with a 100 W transceiver.

New transformer connection and large Fair-rite cylindrical ferrite.

 

Mounting by hanging behind the transformer.

We recommend hanging the transformer on a rope, mounting it with plastic tape or securing it with rubber tape. We do not recommend hanging the transformer on the antenna wire and putting weight on it.

 

The antenna wire is CU-UL, selected for its weight and strength.

The length of the radiator and the method of installation affect the radiation pattern on individual bands.
Recommendations for the ideal radiation pattern:
42 m - 3.5-7-14-21-28 MHz (14 MHz and above already has more lobes)
20.5 m - 7-14-21-28 MHz
10 m - 14-28 MHz

For travel and vacation, we recommend a 20.5 m radiator and horizontal mounting in a straight line, INV. V or INV. L using a laminate telescope.
