Suppresses sheath currents when fed by coaxial cable.

Also referred to as Common Mode Choke.

Suitable e.g. for END-FED, Windom antennas or for connection to a coaxial feeder.

Technical data:
- Power loading 3 kW PEP (SSB 3 kW / CW 1,5 kW / DIGI 1 kW)
- Teflon insulated coaxial winding
- power compensated for use in contests
- large ferrite toroid 3x FT-240
- impedance 50 Ohms
- connected coaxial cable via PL connectors (UHF), N connectors Amphemol on request
- the connecting material is stainless steel
- box size 150x100x75 mm
- the box has IP-65 protection
- the box is equipped with a pressure valve
- weight 0,5 kg

The box is equipped with a pressure valve.
The function of the pressure valve - if the instrument box is exposed to temperature changes - e.g. the difference between day and night temperatures or if heat is generated in the box during operation and the box cools down after operation - pressure changes and condensation of water vapour occur in the sealed box.
In some cases, a vacuum may even be created, which can cause dust and moisture to enter.

Installing a pressure equalizing valve is a very simple way to provide ventilation while preventing vapor condensation and dust from entering the enclosure.
